Our History
Grasep – a name that proudly stands behind dedication, honest work, and the strength of Albanian women. Founded in 2015 by Mrs. Valbona Ajeti, the company came to life as a sincere initiative, born from the desire to bring carefully preserved vegetables to our tables while maintaining their natural quality, taste, and nutritional value.
From the very beginning, Grasep was built on the foundations of cooperation and female courage. A group of hardworking women from the village of Sllatinë e Epërme joined forces with dedication, working in simple household conditions with modest tools but with great heart. They never stopped in the face of challenges because they believed in the idea they were building together.
Every morning, one of the workers would place a flower in her hair—a symbol of love for the work and a positive spirit that spread throughout the team. This small but powerful tradition inspired Grasep’s logo—a leaf and a woman with a flower, now representing our strong connection to nature, pure products, and the vital role of women in every step of this journey.
Over time, the company transitioned from artisanal production to a modern factory equipped with advanced technology and high professional standards, applying international food safety systems ISO 22000 and HACCP. Growth happened not only in capacity and infrastructure but also in trust and responsibility to deliver safe, healthy products with a clear origin.
Today, Grasep offers more than 12 preserved products that are carefully stored to reflect the authentic taste of our land, ensuring consumers feel safety and purity. These products are available in Kosovo’s most renowned supermarket networks and are successfully exported to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, and the United States.
